Job Description

We stay at the cutting edge of retailing and consistently provide outstanding customer service,culminating in winning the Cruise Retailer of the Year award for 2022.About the role:Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, the role is available as a 12 month FTC basis to cover maternity leave. The objective of this role is to support the Merchandising Manager with leading your divisions merchandising team to maximise commercial opportunitiesthrough the effective management of inventory, maximising sales, and profits whilst minimising stock and costs.What youll be doing:

  • Manage intake flow into business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimise risks
  • Work with the Merchandising Assistants to control inventory levels, allocations and replenishment to ships
  • Maintain Weekly Stock Sales and Intake forecasts (WSSI)
  • Work with the Buying team to deliver new ship set-ups, providing analysis and creating OTBs
  • Partner with the Buying team to create seasonal strategies for your department relating to all KPIs
  • Identify and produce seasonal markdown. Review and manage the process to ensure effective implementation on the ships
  • Provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility relating to sales, stock, profit, and markdown versus budget
  • Work alongside the buying team to plan and implement promotional activity
  • Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested
About you:
  • Experience in retail merchandising preferably within multi-brand environment
  • Adopts a flexible approach to work and adapts quickly and effectively to unexpected changes
  • Advanced planning and analytical skills, including computer skills
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills
  • Confidence in suggesting calculated risks
  • Strong customer awareness and understanding
  • Passionate about product, strong market and brand awareness
  • Discreet, professional and well spoken, with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptionally organised, methodical and efficient
  • Time keeping & ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
