The role
  • You will be the stand-alone infrastructure engineer for the company, responsible for all maintenance and administration of server, storage and networks
  • You will have the support of the wider IT support teams and the external partners
  • This role would suit someone who is happy to be visible in their position and has the confidence and necessary skillset to take responsibility for the companys IT infrastructure and networks
  • You will need to be a self-starter and be happy to manage your own workload
  • Your role will include proactively monitoring and maintaining he IT systems, attempting to spot any potential problems or threats before they arise
Any experience with the following technologies will stand you in good stead for this role:
  • VMware / AHV Virtualisation, Citrix Virtual apps and Desktop
  • Firewalls and Switches (Cisco)
  • LAN/WAN/MPLS connections
  • AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO
  • Citrix NetScalers
  • Antivirus deployment and monitoring
  • Nutanix
