Job Description

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will support the Sales & Marketing functions, providing insight and analysis of the results and performance, whilst looking for ways to improve how financial reporting is captured and delivered.Client DetailsA renowned retail plc in Avonmouth with a high-quality reputation for excellence. Passionate about their employees development and progression, providing the tools and experience to support further learning.DescriptionAs a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will support the Sales & Marketing functions, providing insight and analysis of the results and performance, whilst looking for ways to improve how financial reporting is captured and delivered. Reporting to theDirector of Finance, you will join a team of 3 Senior Finance Business Partners.

  • Monthly reporting on performance of sales and costs across all channels
  • Driving high level strategy through development of improved reporting in relation to the retail estate, web channels and paid search
  • Helping to deliver a successful budget process for the sales & marketing areas, and other areas as decided within the finance team, with sufficient detail and support
  • Challenging stakeholders on cost and support for initiatives that drive EBITDA
  • Weekly tracking and reporting of performance of Paid Search media spend, advising on significant investment decisions based on expected sales, profitability, and customer acquisition/LTV
  • Development of financial models to assess the business case for new projects
  • Advising senior stakeholders for or against a course of action based on expected financial implications
Profile
  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified with significant PQE
  • Experienced in producing management accounts and reliable reporting
  • Strong background in Finance Business Partnering
  • Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot) and data modelling abilities
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders
