Job Description

Senior Environmental Consultant - BristolRef: DB1163Competitive Salary Plus BenefitsOur client is looking for an experienced Environmental Consultant who specialises in permitting to join their growing environmental consultancy. The client provides a range of specialist services across many sectors such as residential, commercial, and retail.Their key focus is on Renewable Energy, Built Environment, Low Carbon Technologies and Environmental Planning & Permitting.To be considered for this Senior Environmental Consultant role you will have:

  • BSc/MSc in Environmental science, environmental geoscience geology, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Geology, Sustainability, or Similar
  • Minimum four years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience in the EPR Regulations, with experience in delivering aspects of the environmental permitting process such as environmental risk assessments, site condition reports, fire prevention plans, environmental management systems and management plans
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and the ability to create long lasting relationships with clients
Working as a Senior Environmental Consultant you will:
  • Produce environmental permitting applications
  • Work across a range of different sectors including hazardous and non-hazardous energy from waste plants, alternative fuel production and industrial process industry
  • Support with business development and possess market awareness
  • Liaise with client and support with environmental legislation
