Job Description

This Sports focused digital media company is looking to recruit a Senior Analyst to help its clients make sense of their social media and digital performance, through a blend of data engineering, data science, analytics, visualisation, andcommunication skills.As an SeniorAnalyst, you will work leading a small expert team, defining measures, creating data pipelines, and conducting transformational analysis for some of the biggest sporting events in the world.The role will involve varied and challenging data tasks, from stitching data from multiple sources, to visualising data in Power BI or Google Studio and creating audience segments in a CDP, whatever adds most value to clients.The role is based in Bristol however the company is open to hybrid remote working.You will need:

  • Demonstrable practical experience in digital analytics.
  • Clear technical understanding of the digital media landscape with specialisms in analytics and audience engineering.
  • Strong skills in analytics languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
  • Advanced user of data analysis / visualisation tools / languages e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Studio, D3.js etc.
  • Ability to create complex data models and communicate insights to non-research audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to perform well in disparate, diverse corporate cultures.
  • Be an instinctive project manager who always demonstrates strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel, as required.
  • A love of sport.
  • Experience in advising senior management on strategic topics.
  • Understanding of media planning schedules, inventory analysis, SEO / SEA practices and associated tools.
  • Relevant best-in-class academic qualifications.
