Job Description

Job Title - Senior Bid CoordinatorSalary - £35,000 - £40,000Location - Central BristolContract Type - Fulltime, Permanent positionHours - Monday- Friday 8:30am - 5:00pmHybrid - YesThe CompanyOur client is passionate about making the difference - they are committed to delivering Sustainable Net Zero outcomes for clients, helping people to realize their potential, and doing their part to create a prosperous society.Duties of the Senior Bid Coordinator include:

  • Leading the co-ordination, completion and submission of bids. This will require managing the input from directors and technical staff, driving the bid process and producing submissions in line with company standards.
  • Managing bid timetables to ensure bid team members respond in line with bid plan and that all deadlines are met and that bids are submitted on time and in the correct manner.
  • Reviewing bid documents and pulling together previous relevant bids, best practice answers from bid portal and systems.
  • Working closely with our central business generation team so that we deliver best practice documents.
  • Tracking future opportunities and supporting senior staff with market intelligence.
  • Supporting us to organise external events with clients and fellow professionals.
  • Maintaining our client and marketing databases.
The Candidate:
  • This role will suit someone with similar experience of someone who has worked on tenders/bidding and looking for a step up in their career.
  • Proven experience in the delivery of bid documents including marketing documents, prequalification questionnaires, tenders and presentations.
  • Existing security cleared status, or the ability to obtain.
  • Experience of working with bid portals.
  • Pro-active and approachable - well organised, innovative and a strong communicator.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of InDesign would be advantageous.
  • The ability to learn new procedures quickly and liaise with clients and staff.
  • The candidate must have experience taking responsibility for managing their work and working with minimal supervision to achieve the outcomes required for the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
