Are you an aspiring SEND Teacher or SENDCO looking for more experience within schoolsWe have a role as a specialist teaching assistant to cover supply assignments available within a resource base supporting students with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain more experience specificallyworking with students with additional needs. We have full and part time hours available, which will enable you to work on a flexible basis.The base is located in Bristol and supports students in KS1 and KS2. Specialist staff and facilities are available and students also receive 1:1 support.The school benefits from good transport links and onsite parking. Flexible and full time hours are available as well as assignments within other schools in the local area.We are looking for someone with:Previous experience of working with childrenA genuine passion for supporting students overcome barriers to learningAvailability 4 or more days per weekResponsibilities include:Supporting students on a 1:1 basisWorking with students inside and outside of the classroomWorking with teachers to monitor progressImplementing planned learning and behaviour strategies.This is a great opportunity for those wanting to build on their experience to pursue a career within the education sector!
