Job Description

Secure Coding | Polyglot | OWASPHeadlines:

    • Partly remote role with travel to Bristol for a week, every 6 weeks. Otherwise based in central Bristol, relocation packages available. Interviews and onboarding will be done remotely due to COVID-19.A highly successful start-up in Central Bristol (close to bus and rail links) are looking for a Principle Developer to join in on a brand new offering, bringing in your expertise with secure/vulnerable coding practices within their development function.Youll be ideal if:You are polyglot and have an appreciation/understanding of Java / Ruby / PHP / Python or .net and are an advocate of writing secure code with knowledge of OWASP principles.They are looking for a lead developer so someone who can support, inspire and teach developers the ways and wonders of secure coding. If you are a Lead Dev and can do this then its quite likely, youll be an effective communicator and know how to hold your own where clients are concerned also (hopefully!)The crux of the role…Joining an engineering team who will be writing secure applications using multiple languages. Naturally youll build solid working relationships within the business (including sales, product, UX etc).Up for grabs is a generous salary, 25 days holiday, pension scheme (3% company), flexi working or fully remote (with 2 or 3 days in the office monthly).Youll also benefit from a learning fund, to be spent on any type of learning you want… whether its a plastering course to re-plaster your house or something completely different.
