Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join a leading construction specialist that focus on exciting commercial fit-out projects involving architectural glass, glazing and partitioning systems. The company work on a range of exciting projectsand due to continued growth, require an experienced Sales Manager that has a proven background working with clients such as architects, designers and contractors previously. The position will be to build and maintain relationships with existing architectsand dealer partners across a European market. The role will be to plan and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets. You will own the sales function and manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to winning an order. A background working within a relatable, construction productspecialist previously is required (i.e. glazing, cladding, curtain walling, partitioning, fenestration, glass, carpentry, flooring etc.)Export Sales Manager Position Overview

  • Maximise the dealer sales through projects specified by the company and projects made by Dealers.
  • Manage and motivate dealer partners to achieve their sales targets and develop their relationships with Architects, Specifiers and End Users.
  • Develop and support initiatives to enable Dealers to carry out their own estimates on smaller projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partnering companies
  • Liaise with internal departments and the provision of sales forecasts to assist with business planning.
  • Develop the skills and competencies of dealer partner staff to ensure company projects are delivered maintaining the brand values.
  • Prepare sales analysis reports for Board meetings.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained through the use of the CRM system.
  • To develop an annual strategic marketing plan in conjunction with senior management.
  • Produce business requirements documents and project briefs and oversee the development and implementation of these projects.
Export Sales Manager Position Requirements
  • Experience working with architects and main/sub-contractors
  • Technical skills with the ability to write specifications
  • Construction industry knowledge (European contracts highly desirable)
  • Relevant product knowledge (i.e. glazing, partitioning, cladding, facades, fenestration, flooring etc.)
  • Full UK Drivers License
  • Ability to commute to London area to meet with Architects
