Job Description

Sales ExecutiveBristol £35,000 - £45,000 + Package Do you want to be part of a worldwide logistics and freight forwarding company based in Bristol, in addition to their 300 other officesOur client is a Global Logistics Business, and they are growing their team quickly. More than 50 percent of their employees have been at the company for 5 years or more, so youll have a great opportunity to progress in your career.We are working with a freight forwarding specialist who are looking for a District Sales Executive with experience in air, ocean, or road freight to join their business. They are offering the opportunity to work on the road and office based covering theBristol region. You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, whilst identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.What youll do:

  • To work towards personal and team sales target - establish measurable KPIs to track your success.
  • Manage an assigned territory around Bristol and demonstrate knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
  • Pursue revenue opportunities with new and existing customers, whilst engaging and building strong relationships.
  • Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customers logistics needs - supporting cost-benefit calculations.
  • Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and meet client expectations.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for client accounts.
  • Join the in-house training sessions to development service and skills knowledge.
Experience:
  • Understand the current market in freight forwarding - Air, Ocean, and Road
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Encouraged to make quick decisions in response to changing conditions.
  • Strong negotiation skills whilst maintaining strong client relationships.
Package:
  • £35,000 - £45,000 base salary
