Job Description

Sales & Operations ManagerWe are looking to hire an ambitious Sales & Operations Manager to drive sales across Industrial Distribution, Engineering & Industrial OEMs.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a Global player within the industrial and MRO sectors. We are looking for an individual equipped to combine Sales & General Management experience, alongside motivating a small operational team to deliver top and bottom-line performance across the UK. The role carries significant responsibility reporting on the UK activities intothe group.Ideal Location: Bristol - Swindon - Gloucester - Oxford££competitive (c. £55k - £65k) + bonus + car + excellent pension + life assurance + health careKey role points:

  • Manage, develop and grow sales & operational performance for the UK industrial business unit.
  • Strategically grow and develop key industrial distribution accounts.
  • Become the conduit between the organisation and key UK Industrial OEMs.
  • Motivate, manage and mentor sales & operational staff within the UK business unit.
  • Proactively take ownership and responsibility for the UK business performance, representing the UK and reporting into global HQ.
  • Work alongside the global management team to ensure effective communication in delivering the groups values and policies into the UK business unit.
The candidate
  • Ideally a sales focused operational professional, with experience and knowledge of operating within the industrial distribution / engineering product supply or MRO sectors.
  • Experience of developing industrial OEMs or industrial manufacturers will be a ideal in addition to sales & operational focus.
  • Though not essential, it would be beneficial for our ideal candidate to have had exposure or experience of industrial fluid solutions, rubber or plastics industry or selling similar products through distribution.
  • This role is exceptionally customer centric therefore we require an excellent relationship builder with the gravitas to win customer confidence alongside employee respect.
