Job Description

CIMPA PLM is seeking a highly proactive individual to join us as a Sales Account Manager within our dynamic team. The role is focused on finding new opportunities to sell the suite of CIMPA PLM services to new and existing clients.We are looking for a results-driven, tenacious individual with a passion for conquering sales territories. Your skills will be put to the test as you navigate the competitive landscape, targeting potential clients with precision and charisma.The role of Sales Account Manager will play a pivotal part in the continued growth of CIMPA PLM across the UK and Europe in 2024.As an experienced Sales Account Manager, you will have proven experience of sales successes and a well-developed customer network within Engineering, Manufacturing, and Information System/PLM domains. A good knowledge of the competitive landscape is required.What you will be doing:Adhering to the CIMPA values, you will spearhead the delivery of the business development plan for the UK in line with the strategic plan defined by your Agency Director and be responsible for acquiring new customers, working with our technical teams toachieve the sales quota by identifying and winning new opportunities.

  • Identify, qualify, and secure opportunities within existing clients and target clients to meet the sales targets set.
  • Hunt for potential leads with a keen eye and strategic mentality.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, keeping our organization at the forefront of innovation.
  • Take responsibility for the revenue/contract growth of agreed areas within the clients.
  • Deliver all stages of the sales cycle efficiently, adhering to the company selling methodology.
  • Drive the team in developing propositions which will bring benefit to the customer and revenue growth for the organisation
  • Make sure that all avenues of resourcing are explored to deliver the required skills to the client and to take part in contractor / client negotiation to ensure placements / extensions are secured.
  • Participate in appropriate internal and external forums, sharing information, and contributing to the design and development of strategy and new service solutions.
  • Initiate, develop, and implement agreed and specific sales campaigns as part of the agreed strategy.
  • Act as the single point of contact to own and develop long-term client relationships in designated clients, to position CIMPA as a strategic partner.
  • Maintain the agreed contact matrix and calling plan for the designated clients.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and perception are achieved and maintained.
  • Act as escalation point for client queries and ensure prompt resolution through the delivery organisation
  • Provide client, market, and competitor positioning information to feed into future sales propositions and overall sales strategy.
  • Establish and maintain strong communication channels between the delivery organisation, technology partners and clients.
What you’ll bring:
  • An engineering or manufacturing background with experience of complex and long-term selling processes within the service provision arena
  • Confident and resilient in the face of challenges.
  • An outstanding ability to establish and build personal, internal and client relationships with integrity.
  • Excellent understanding of technical aspects, particularly in the field of Engineering and Manufacturing domains
  • Confirmed sales success in aerospace or in large industrial accounts as well as a good network at senior levels of existing / potential customers.
  • Accomplished commercial foresight and business development skills.
  • Leadership mentality with a can-do’ attitude to resolving issues, to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Both a strategic and tactical player in the business, with a hands-on’ approach, demonstrating a high level of self-motivation and drive, with a solutions-oriented and methodical way of working.
Employment Type - Full-time, PermanentSalary - £70,000 basic plus bonus, 25 days holiday, Pension, Medical and Dental InsuranceLocation - Bristol or Broughton, Chester with hybrid optionsWe operate a hybrid working principle, so the role could partially be worked from UK home as well as being delivered on Client and CIMPA PLM sites, with regular visits to site as needed.
