Job Description

Road Freight Supervisor - BristolThe role will involve dealing with Uk & European Road Freight movementsResponsibilities;

  • Handling all Uk & European Road freight movements
  • Overseeing a small operations team
  • Liaising with customers, European partners, drivers and other internal departments to ensure that our services run as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Load planning for Import and Exports
  • Complete Customs Clearance in accordance with current HMRC requirements
  • Provide pricing for spot quote business as per customer requirements
  • Provide world class customer service, and take ownership for assigned customers
    • Knowledge and Skills Required;
  • Experience of Road freight operations within a freight forwarding company
  • Ability to make decisions and supervise other staff
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to resolve problems
