Job Description

Role- RF Test Technician / EngineerSalary- £30,000 - 35,000 per annum dependent on experienceType- Permanent Location - BristolMy client works within the Electronics and RF industry.The RF Test Technician / Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Formal qualification (HNC/ HND/ Degree) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a product based electronic manufacturing environment
  • Have a broad understanding of electrical & electronic principles with significant RF/microwave experience
  • A good understanding of electronic component functions
  • Fully conversant with electrical circuit diagrams
    • The RF Test Technician / Engineer role will involve:
  • Operating Test Equipment (scalar, vector, spectrum & power analysers)
  • Aligning Amplifier parameters
  • Fault finding Analog & RF down to component level
  • Interfacing with the Engineering team in a product design environment
