Research Engineer - Sensor FusionAvanti Recruitment have partnered with a Bristol based company developing gold-standard inspection, measurement and spatial mapping systems used in industries as diverse as aerospace, formula 1, civil engineering and construction.Were looking for a Research Engineer to join their R&D group developing their next generation of products capable of taking non-contact measurements of an object and monitoring its behaviour down to fractions of a micron and then producing actionable datato help in all sorts of engineering product development work.Working with the Research Lead, youll be a creative thinker with a background in maths, physics or computer science with some experience working with sensors, cameras or optics and be given support and backing from the senior team as well as stacks of creativefreedom for your research with all the equipment, tools and budgets youd need in order to develop innovative and high-performance proof of concepts and prototypes.
