CompanyInternational manufacturing business in Bristol has a newly created role for a Reporting Accountant to oversee legal entity reporting including statutory financial statements, internal reporting (to management and to the Boards) and US and local GAAP accounting. Having continued to see double digit growth YOY, this role will support the SOX and Internal audit process, ensuring controls documentation is maintained and regularly updated and acting as the key contact point.RoleWorking as part of a high growth and entrepreneurial business, you will work with the technical accounting team where necessary to ensure compliance with relevant IFRS and US GAAP. You will oversee compliance with US GAAP and FRS101 filing requirements by studying regulations and adhering to requirements and reporting on differences between US GAAP &FRS 101. You will also review, record and report on internal process and the appropriate controls in place to remain compliant with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).About YouLikely ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years PQE, you will have a working knowledge of both US GAAP and SOX. You’ll demonstrate a naturally engaging and persuasive style which will allow you to make an impact across the wider finance community. Moreover you’ll be comfortable providing recommendations to senior stakeholders on continuous improvements in processes and controls.
