MBA are currently recruiting for a Repairs Manager to join an exciting global insurance company. As a leading player in the insurance industry, our client puts their people at the heart of everything they do.The Repairs Manager role is to pro-actively manage the repairs phase of insurance claims in an effective manner and to manage the performance of contractors in order that the repair phase of claims progress efficiently.In return, the Subsidence Surveyor will expect a salary of up to £45,000 + car/ car allowance, 26 days paid annual leave, pension contribution, access to thousands of perks and discounts, optional health and wellbeing cover and life assurance at 4 x your annualsalary.Role & Responsibilities:* Ensure the strategic completion of repairs is met based on your understanding of the Scope of Works required* Complete audits specific to Health & Safety and Workmanship in accordance to Building Regulations* Ensure that any Planning Regulations, CDM and / or Party Wall Matters are taken into account* Work to tight deadlines to ensure that repairs are completed within SLASkills & Requirements:* Detailed knowledge of Building Construction* Subsidence experience would be preferred* Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation* Experienced management of contractorsThe role will involve travel across the Bristol/Bath areaWe normally expect a high number of applications.
