The Recruitment Services Officer is part of the HR Business Partnering team which supports Forest Services.The Recruitment Services Officer will be based in Bristol and it is a FTA (Fixed Term Appointment) until March 2025.Client DetailsThe organisation is the government department responsible for protecting, expanding, and promoting the sustainable management of woodlands and increasing their value to society and the environment.The company provide grants, licences and advice to private woodland owners to encourage new tree planting and to help keep private forests under sustainable management.Their plant health officers inspect wood imports at ports to minimise the risk from foreign pests and diseases.Their experts work with local authorities and landowners to contain and control any spread.They licence tree felling to protect our woodlands for generations to come.DescriptionRecruitment Services Officer* Create and upload internal and external job adverts on the Vx System* Upload sift and interview results with included feedback* Request and upload pre-employment documents from candidates* Liaise with the wider HR team to ensure onboarding is completed in a timely manner* Establish a good working relationship with the Government Recruitment Service (GRS)* Support hiring managers with the recruitment process* Respond and deal with recruitment queries* Ensure a great candidate experience through timely communication* Arranging candidate interviews* Be the first point of contact for interview issues or candidate questions* Maintain the recruitment tracker* Respond to queries from the recruitment inbox* Ensure New Entrant Notification forms are completed accurately for HR Processing* Monitor the reserve list of candidatesProfileRecruitment Services OfficerESSENTIAL* Experience of working in a busy admin role, ideally in a HR, Recruitment or Customer Services* Excellent communication skills both written and spoken* Ability to quickly build and maintain key relationships with hiring managers, and the wider HR Business Partnering team* Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Teams)DESIRABLE* Working knowledge of the Vx System or Applicant Tracking Systems BEHAVIOURS* Managing a Quality Service* Delivering at pace* Working togetherJob Offer- Flexible working- General civil service pension- Inclusive and supportive environment
