Job Description

Recruitment Manager - Hybrid working with some TravelThis is a perfect opportunity for a driven and results orientated Resourcing Manager to make a real impact on a successful and growing multisite retailer.Summary of RoleAs the Recruitment Manager your purpose is to shape, lead and execute the recruitment plan for our clients volume roles, adding value to their business, delighting customers, and helping to make the business a great place to work.Specifically, the role includes;

  • Shaping the talent identification and recruitment approach for our Retail teams,
  • Identifying, assessing, and recruiting the right talent into our business,
  • Implementing and promoting our employer brand proposition,
Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process for all volume sales and management and roles.
  • Identifying current, upcoming and future recruitment needs, working in close partnership with HR Business Partners and Retail Operations teams.
  • Lead the Volume Recruitment team including internal recruiters, setting goals and objectives in line with company requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agents and partner with them on recruitment campaigns,
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring highest levels of data quality,
  • Oversee the recruitment budget ensuring costs are managed in line with expectations,
  • Responsible for improving the time to hire, cost per hire, candidate experience and quality of hire into the business,
  • Develop and refine the go to market recruitment channel plan that will meet the agreed needs/requirements, including but not limited to:
    • Direct online applications, overseas recruitment agents, Social media, Direct Sourcing, Job fairs
Person Specification
  • Degree educated with strong knowledge and experience of talent attraction strategies and assessment - especially in high volume retail, hospitality or closely related sectors.
  • Experience of creating and implementing strategic recruitment/resourcing solutions preferably in a growing business.
  • Experience of driving a direct sourcing approach using a variety of channels to attract candidates and constantly monitoring and improving the candidate experience.
  • Credible at all levels with excellent influencing skills & an enthusiastic, positive approach.
  • A great relationship builder, able to develop trusted relationships at all levels.
  • An honest straightforward and genuine personality with a sense of fun!
  • Line and matrix management experience - sets and drives excellent people performance
  • Excellent brand promoter and communicator, internally and externally
  • Highly proactive, a self-starter - thrives on setting an agreed course, and driving through to completion
  • Resilient, calm under pressure, and emotionally intelligent
