Job Description

Recruitment Advisor who line manages two Recruitment Services OfficersFTA (Fixed Term Appointment) until March 2024 with a salary between £27,779 and £30,168Client DetailsA growing organisation who value their staff and offer progression and support.The company provide grants, licences and advice to private woodland owners to encourage new tree planting and to help keep private forests under sustainable management.Their plant health officers inspect wood imports at ports to minimise the risk from foreign pests and diseases.Their experts work with local authorities and landowners to contain and control any spread.They licence tree felling to protect our woodlands for generations to come.DescriptionRecrutiment AdvisorThe Recruitment Advisor will support the HR Business Partner with delivering an expert and efficient recruitment service to all teams.The post holder will deliver the full recruitment life cycle and collaborate with hiring managers and the wider HR Team on recruitment projects and proactively source high calibre individuals to join the organisation.The post holder will have line management responsibility for two Recruitment Support Officers.KEY WORK AREAS* Line Manage two Recruitment Support Officers with the ability to develop a high performing team to ensure timely and accurate processing of recruitment admin tasks are carried out, including communicating with candidates, hiring managers and the widerHR team to ensure all recruitment related correspondence such as offer letters are sent on time.* Collaborate with hiring managers to find solutions to recruitment and selection options to attract the best candidates and promote good recruitment practice.* Be the main point of contact for all recruitment queries and provide recruitment advice to hiring managers, with full knowledge of policies and procedures relating to recruitment. Demonstrate basic employment law knowledge relating to recruitment.* To maintain the recruitment pipeline, reserve lists and manage the progress of all vacancies and provide weekly updates and regular forecasts of future recruitment needs to the HRBP (HR Business Partner) and Senior Managers* Participate in some interview panels, including initial screening & shortlisting* Develop and deliver training relating to recruitment and selection* To contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by bringing insights to identify opportunities* Be the main recruitment contact for the Government Recruitment Service (GRS) for all vacanciesProfileRecruitment AdvisorESSENTIAL* Experience of working in a recruitment team, either inhouse or agency* In-depth knowledge of the application of recruitment policies and procedures, including compliance requirements for HR, together with a thorough understanding of current recruitment legislation, including diversity and inclusion* Ability to quickly build and maintain key relationships with a diverse and complex range of stakeholders* Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies at the same time* Understands how to work effectively in a team to deliver results* An understanding of using social media to lead recruitment campaigns* Some experience of developing and/or delivering training on a 1:1 basis to managers or small groups* Commitment to Continuous Professional DevelopmentDESIRABLE* CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience* Experience in managing a small team* Experienced in producing MI data and interpreting trends* Working knowledge of the Vx System or Applicant Tracking Systems* Experience of job evaluation, ideally JEGs trained* Train the Trainer qualificationBEHAVIOURS* Leadership* Managing a Quality Service* Changing and Improving* Delivering at paceJob Offer- Flexible working- Inclusive environement with a supportive team- Progression opportunities- Civil service pension
