Job Description

Position: Receptionist / AdminHours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per well, very flexible between 8.30 - 5.30 - (must cover core hours each day, but can be tailored to suit your needs)Location: Aztec WestTerm: Permanent, full timeSalary: £18000 - £21000 depending on experienceWe are looking for an experienced receptionist who is hoping to progress their career to that of an office manager. Our client is offering an exciting opportunity within their Aztec West office to join the team as a receptionist in a role that will progressfurther - allowing you to become an integral part of a high level technology and defence company.Whilst starting out, the role will be a predominately reception role, with day to day duties such as:

  • Greeting visitors and issuing visitor badges.
  • Liaising with visitor hosts.
  • Organising lunch
  • Logistical arrangements for visitors and large meetings
  • Dealing with mail and deliveries, contacting relevant persons.
  • Courier assistance, ensuring collections are handled and supported
  • Supporting with meeting room allocations and setting up meeting rooms
  • Supporting with personnel allocations on site during COVID-19.
  • Room checks for stationary and equipment, and ensuring office is fully stocked.
  • Direct queries to the appropriate personnel
  • Assisting with evacuation processes
  • Additional administration tasks to support front of house and facilities and security:
  • Ordering stationary or consumables
  • Ensuring reception is tidy and welcoming
  • Issuing ID cards
  • Assisting with goods in, ensuring goods are booked onto site and liaising with receiver.
  • Checking visitor clearance and updating internal system
  • Fire marshal and first aider
The ideal candidate will need to;
  • Be highly accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be welcoming and efficient
  • Able to multitask
  • Have great PC skills, including Microsoft packages
