Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in demolition to join our dynamic team.Position Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor specializing in demolition projects, you will play a vital role in managing the costs and financial aspects of our projects. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure accurate cost estimation, budgetcontrol, and financial reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the success of our projects in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for demolition projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring projects stay within approved budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to manage project costs effectively.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts and change orders to optimize project profitability.
  • Conduct regular cost analysis and variance reporting to track project financial performance.
  • Manage procurement activities, including negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company financial policies.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to project teams to optimize cost control measures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the demolition industry.
  • Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, materials, and cost factors.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
