Python Developer - Healthcare, Bristol/Remote£50,000 - £70,000Central Bristol - currently remote, remote 3/4 days a week available post Covid-19.We have a new opportunity for a Python Developer for our very good friends in Bristol. Having worked with them exclusively for the past 2 years and watching them grow from 2 to almost 40 people its been so amazing to be a part of and hire some brilliant people for them. The really are one of a kind, they have a great team, a great diverse culture and continue to implement the right approaches working on really exciting stuff within Healthcare. As they move on to the next phase of product development, I am looking for a new Python Developer to join their talented engineering team to achieve their ambitious goals for the rest of this crazy year and beyond. You will have a transformative impact by contributing significantly to the software of their core product working with a high performing optimal engineering team. They have a firm commitment to upholding good engineering disciplines and so you should be comfortable embedding practices like test-driven development, code control, CI and design patterns on new projects. Expect to be working with libraries like luigi, flask, celery, thespianpy, asyncio, pandas, tornado and sqlalchemy. In addition to Python they use a range of technologies across their work. Principal among these are Postgres, R/Shiny and Angular JS. They have also delivered work using Spark, graph databases and various Hadoop stacks. They have used Pentahos Data Integrator on some legacy projects but are moving to pure Python for ETL. Experience with any of these would be of interest. Although this role is a software development one, they also do a lot of statistical modelling, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Therefore, you will get exposure to these areas in the medium term, if you are interested… another string to your bow. They have an office in central Bristol but have always been super flexible to remote working and can offer this post covid. Also they have a brilliant benefit package and you can be part of something which is going to make the world a much better place.Salary between £50,000 - £70,000 DOE. 2 stage interviews available asap.
