Job Description

Innovative Customer Focused Agile Open and Engaging Entrepreneurial - Our key attitudes and way we like to work at Saint-Gobain.If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about the Project Sales Manager opportunity.The role will be working for Saint Gobain Insulation UK, this is an exciting role for someone who has previous project specification experience who can put their own stamp on the role.Reporting into the Head of Technical Insulation Sales you will spend four days per week out in the field covering the key areas - Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff so ideally you will be within reach of those areas.As a Project Sales Manager, you will be managing the project identification and specification activity with M&E Consulatants, creating demand for Technical Insulation products and systems within the Isover brand.You will be responsible for managing projects through all commercial stages to order, engaging with contractors and distributors to develop discretionary business as well as securing specifications.Further duties of the role include;

  • Identifying sales opportunities through sources such as website leads, specification and technical enquiries together with project lead data
  • Developing and strengthening existing relationships with Specifiers
  • Delivering monthly specification targets based on annual revenue, volume and price targets within a geographical area
  • Ensuring all distributors (branches and sales personnel) are managed for pull through business development in line with agreed visit frequencies and account development plans
  • Taking responsibility for the commercial price management of pricing to contractors and distributors for all Technical Insulation product groups with the support of Sales Director/Finance team for the overall margin assessment

  • Technical Sales Professional with specification, contractor and Project Sales experience in construction
  • Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen

  • Educated to GCSE Maths and English, A-level or equivalent
