We are currently looking for a Project Manager - Process Development to join a leading ATMP and biopharmaceutical consultancy based in the South West area. As the Project Manager in Process Development you will be responsible for the delivery of both external and internal projects, working in close collaboration with the process development laboratory team. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Project Manager - Process Development will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will lead project teams to achieve project scope, schedule and budgetary targets.2. Working with the process development teams, you will monitor timelines, availability of resources, budgets and expenses for projects that you have established delivery strategies for. 3. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the expectations of clients and key stakeholders, while ensuring you have identified and managed risks and opportunities for the assigned projects. 4. You will provide clear and achievable project performance targets to teams of scientists, making sure they are kept up to date on priorities at weekly lab team and project meetings. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Project Manager - Process Development we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in a science subject (e.g. Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioprocess Engineering, etc.) is required. 2. Proven industry experience in a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical setting managing projects for lab-based PD or R&D projects is essential. It is also desirable to have some cell and gene therapy process experience. 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with MS Project, as well as team leading, managing time, cost, scope, risk and change, is essential to your application.
