Our key clients provide a full range of hospital and community services for people across UK and we are working in partnership to deliver large, capital programmes of work.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing of outline and development briefs.Preparing and delivering the reports including feasibility and project progress reports.Preparing the project execution plan (PEP) and project initiation document (PID).Developing, assessing, interpreting and on-going management of programmes.Preparing risk registers and management of the mitigation/management strategy.Coordinating the procurement of consultant, contractors and equipment services.Managing of the design process and monitoring against project teams deliverables.Managing the change control processes.Monitoring and reporting on budgets, cash flow and profitability.Constructing and projecting close-out including client sign off and facilitating lessons learnt workshops.Providing line management of assistant managers, graduates and apprentices.About youProfessionally qualified consultant (with at least 3 years post-professional qualification experience).Background in delivering public sector projects, dealing with high level stakeholders and familiarity with governance processes, preferably in the custodial estate.Involvement on large construction project experience £50m+.Familiarity in two stage contracting with NEC and/or partnering forms of contract.Understanding of contractual dispute resolution techniques.Application of BREEAM and other sustainability criteria.Construction building standards (for snagging), commissioning and handover.Stakeholder mapping exercises.Risk management processes.Design process and the management of design teams.Financial management of projects.Value engineering processes.Construction and project close-out processes.Commercial concepts and contract administration.Effective written, verbal and graphic presentation skills.Proficiency in use of MS project and knowledge of critical path analysis.Estimate project time and cost targets throughout project stages.Team working.Rewards and recognitionWith Mace you will deepen your knowledge and skills, work with inspiring colleagues, influential clients and get to see the world.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:Private healthcareCar allowanceGenerous contributory pensionCompetitive and flexible annual leaveDiscretionary bonus schemeVolunteering allowanceCycle to work schemeLife assurance1 professional fee paid"Mace is an equal opportunity employer.
