Project Manager - Concrete Repairs & Maintenance Job Title: Project Manager - Concrete Repairs & MaintenanceIndustry Sector: Water Maintenance, Water, Pipework, Valves, Metal works, Civils, Temporary Works, Bridge Repairs, Concrete Testing, Concrete Surveys, Concrete Contractor, Specialist Contractor, Contracts Manager, Concrete, Building Contractor, GroundworkContractor, Light CivilsLocation: Bristol or surrounding areasRemuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonusBenefits: Company Car / Car Allowance & Full Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Project Manager - Concrete Repairs & Maintenance will involve:

  • Project Manager position managing the inspection, maintenance, refurbishment and cleaning of concrete, steel and masonry structures in the water and waste water sectors
  • Compiling contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and other instructions to contract teams
  • Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manor
  • Building and developing relationships with key clients
  • Supporting with the recruitment of staff to fulfil projects
  • Ensure timely handover of reports, measurements, programme changes and other relevant information to the commercial team
  • Assisting with the preparation of quality bids, PQQs and other presentations as required
  • Providing technical, contractual, and legal advice
  • Motivating, coaching, and providing guidance to contracts staff & operatives
  • Attend weekly meetings with internal and external stakeholders to update on progress
  • Make sure projects are completed within budget and time frame
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager - Concrete Repairs & Maintenance with:
  • Must have Project Management experience for a principle contractor within the construction market sector, ideally will be experienced in the water / M&E industries
  • Experience with refurbishment works and concrete repairs would be highly advantageous
  • Must have CSCS / SMSTS memberships
  • Ideally will have civils engineering degree or similar
  • Familiar with cost reporting, valuations, and performance reviews
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
  • Resilient individual that can overcome problems on site
  • Full UK driving license
  • Wants to take charge and be in control
