Job Description

Project Manager / Product / Software / Agile / Waterfall / Scrum Master / PMP / Financial Services / PaymentsLocation - Bristol - Hybrid/Remote (UK Applicants Only)Salary - £50 - £55K (DoE)Excellent BenefitsI am lucky enough to be working with a leading Financial Services business who are experiencing a period of growth, due to this growth they are looking to add a Project Manager to the team. To be successful you will need previous experience as a PM/Scrum master’sin software Solutions within the Financial Services sector, bonus points if that area was also within payments. Project Manager Specification:

  • You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development Teams and other stakeholders in the business to define project objectives, scope and requirements.
  • You will create and manage project backlogs, ensuring that user stories are well defined, prioritised and ready for development.
  • You will monitor project progress, track key metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders within the business, adjusting plans as needed to meet project goals.
  • You will identify and mitigate project risks, removing obstacles and ensuring the teams have the resources needed to succeed.
  • You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • You will collaborate with cross functional teams to promote transparency, collaboration and a customer-centric approach to project delivery.
  • You will manage project budgets and resource allocations, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.
  • You must have proven experience of working within Agile and Waterfall environments this is essential.
  • You must have proven effective communication, interpersonal and collaborations skills this is essential.
  • You must have proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
  • You will demonstrate proven proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Proven passion for continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends.
  • PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Agile Project Manager (CAPM) qualifications are a plus.
  • Ideally experience in Financial Services, preferably including BACS, direct debits, payment cards, prepaid and cash transactions
  • Proven experience in the ability to facilitate and support decision making to drive plans forward to successful delivery.
