Job Description

Project Architect (BIM & Clash Detection)Location: Stevenage / BristolSalary: Up to £55k (DOE) + Excellent BenefitsJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentThe Client:Our client is an established multi-disciplinary architectural firm committed to crafting sustainable environments. Operating Globally and Nationally, they have a diverse portfolio of award-winning projects spanning public and private sectors.The Role:They are looking for a Project Architect to join their team. Your role involves leading an in-house architectural team and coordinating with external design teams on residential, educational, and commercial schemes.Responsibilities:

  • Guide the initial briefing process, documenting the brief in both report and meeting minutes.
  • Produce Accommodation Strategies and Feasibility Studies.
  • Prepare concept design sketches using ArchiCAD and Sketch-up.
  • Oversee a Visualiser for 3D project animations.
  • Contribute to the development of ArchiCAD BIM model.
  • Develop Deliverables Programmes for architectural outputs.
  • Prepare construction work specifications and drawings.
  • Attend DTMs and site meetings.
  • Prepare construction drawings/details using ArchiCAD.
  • Engage in structured Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Project Architect or in a similar role.
  • Experience in BIM and working in a 3D environment.
  • Skilled in managing medium to large projects.
  • Knowledge of clash detection and coordination with consultants information.
  • Experience in residential and/or educational sector scheme (Preferable)
  • ArchiCAD experience (desirable).
