Job Description

This is an opportunity for a Project / Account Manager to join an expanding Industrial Product and Medical Devices Design consultancy based in Bristol.The successful candidate will focuses on planning, leading and delivering high quality, on-time and within-budget projects, working collaboratively with senior team members and cross-functional project teams. The post holder will also contribute to developing business through support to sales meetings and proposals. The responsibilities are but not limited to as follows:-

  • Planning and defining project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Developing and communicating accurate project schedules and timelines through use of scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Tailoring resources to suit project challenges.
  • Ensuring all projects are planned and executed in accordance with the QMS and ensuring revenue, invoicing and GP targets are met.
  • Monitoring project performance, handling issues which arise and adjusting accordingly to maintain project goals.
  • Ensuring on-time and within-budget project execution and delivery by managing risks, driving decisions, maintaining commitments to decision made, and implementing contingency plans with urgency, high quality of execution and impact.
  • Working within design control under quality management systems to ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and ISO 14971 standards.
  • Implementing appropriate project management methodologies and frameworks such as PRINCE2, APM, Agile etc.
  • Defining, documenting and updating project proposals through the full development cycle.
  • Inspire colleagues and lead by example, championing the benefits of project management throughout the business.
  • Developing and improving ways of working both within and between departments.
