Production operative

Production operative required for permanent, full-time work from a depot based in Central Bristol - BS2

Monday - Friday, 6am - 2.30pm
30-minute break for lunch
Start ASAP
£22,000 - £28,000 per year, dependant on experience
Located on Albert Road - easy to access by car without entering CAZ, by bus 1, 39, 349 or walking distance from Totterdown, Brislington etc

About the job

Control goods inwards and outwards
Loading and unloading
Drive company vehicles to transfer goods/materials
Operate and maintain relevant machinery
Cut glass and mirrors to specified size and shape, using patterns, straightedge, tape measure, and glass cutting tools.
Package materials and products
Assist in the waste disposal and recycling activities

The right candidate

Full UK manual driving licence
Comfortable with manual handling of heavy and/or awkward objects
Previous experience in a similar role - warehouse, factory, machine operator, production, manufacturing etc
Good communication skills
IT literate
