Job Description

Production Manager£35,000£40,000 + BenefitsBristol (BS2 8RH)The RoleDo you have experience in event production and building Do you want to join a company that offers opportunities for personal and professional growth If so, we are looking for you.We are looking for a Production Manager Superstar to assist with the management of all production requirements within Magic Number. This role will mean being the point of contact with all production suppliers working closely with the campaign managers anddirectors on all creative design a build requirement for each campaign and experience.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of a Production Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the full process of the build requirements for each campaign.
  • Working with the campaign manager on creative design with build practice requirements, costings.
  • Managing the build budget for each asset production in line with the signed off design.
  • Managing the suppliers for each asset produced across multiple campaigns.
  • Manging the process from design, creation to onsite delivery.
  • Detailed management of assigned budget and spending.
  • Understanding of asset design for certain environments.
  • Managing on-site builds to desired specifications (required builds).
  • Putting together build plans and health and safety documentation.
  • Fire safety and environmental planning.
  • Managing onsite crews, suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Informing directors of developments and reporting back each week.

The PersonThe key skills and qualities of a Production Manager are:
  • Minimum 3 years experience event production and build.
  • Good understanding of all technical aspects of live event production, including sound, lighting, rigging and brand activations.
  • Clean Driving licence (required).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Happy to be away from home for extended periods of time.
  • Willing to go above and beyond for the client.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is key.
