Job Description

Product Environmental ManagerPermanent roleBased in BristolOffering £65,000SC EligibleAre you an experienced Product Environmental ManagerDo you want to work with an industry-leading companyIf your answers are yes to these, then this could be the role for!As the Product Environmental Manager, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skillsto enable you to grow within the company and industry.As the Product Environmental Manager, you will be supporting the Head of Airworthiness and System Safety to ensure that the company products satisfy statutory and contractual environmental requirements.What you will be involved in:

  • Develop and continuously improve company processes and procedures for product environmental management.
  • Support project Safety and Environmental Managers to successfully implement environmental management processes and procedures.
  • Provide product environmental SME advice to bids and projects.
  • Support Supply Chain Managers to ensure purchased material complies with relevant product environmental requirements.
  • Manage compliance at the company level against statutory product environmental requirements.
  • Liaise and collaborate with the QHSE team to ensure coherence between product and organisational environmental management activity.
  • Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.
Your skillset may include:
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of product environmental management, including application and technology appropriate to the Defence industry.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of the principles of sustainable procurement and can relate them to a high-technology business with a diverse and complex product portfolio.
