Job Description

I am working with a fast growing business and international tax consultancy firm in Bristol seeking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their team providing tax compliance and advisory services to individuals based in the UK and overseas. My client is lookingforsomeone dynamic and knowledgeable to join the team.Responsibilities will include:- Reviewing Self-Assessment Tax Returns- Preparing of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for our more complex clients- Liaising with clients and HMRC regarding UK tax affairs- Preparing advisory reports for internal review- Researching technical queries- Assist with digital tax disclosures- Prepare and review Capital Gains Tax calculations and returns- Being a point of contact for tax queries for the wider team- Training more junior members of staffThe successful candidate will have:- Experience of preparing and reviewing UK self-assessment tax returns- Experience of preparing tax advice would be beneficial but not essential- At least 12-24 months UK tax experience- Tax qualifications (ATT/CTA) would be beneficial but not essential- Confidence to speak directly with clients and HMRC- Experience with using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook- A positive and helpful attitude- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently- Strong written English and numeracy skillsFull time would be preferred, although part time working would be considered (minimum 30 hours per week). My client offers flexible working policy so would be open to a hybrid working model, with a minimum of 1-2 days per week in the office.If you are interested please contact me.
