Enduring that Technical evaluation and support are also provided for capital equipment purchases. Maintainingsite equipment, minimising downtime, and ensuring safety and compliance are key responsibilities. Risk assessments and hazard identification must be carried out, and safety policies must be followed. Ensure training is provided to site staff, particularlyregarding new equipment and modifications. Supporting the Learning and development plans for direct reports are updated accordingly.ProfileThe perfect candidate for this role would be an experienced electrical and software engineer with a strong background in designing new equipment. They should have in-depth knowledge of best practices and regulations in the field, ensuring compliance throughoutthe project life cycle. Strong project management skills are essential, as the candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining project plans, while delivering projects on time and within budget.The ideal candidate would have excellent technical documentation skills, ensuring that all documentation is detailed and updated as necessary. They should possess expertise in selecting assembly methods and cost-effective equipment, considering both timeand cost implications. Experience in providing support to local teams during project build and commissioning, with a focus on smooth delivery and successful transition to production, would be highly valuable.Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in evaluating and supporting capital equipment purchases, collaborating effectively with purchasing staff and suppliers.
