Job Description

Would you like to join an international defence company to support their clients by improving the capability, reliability and availability of their most critical assets Due to continued investment, this global business is currently looking for a Principal Project Planner to join their existing team in Bristol on an initial 6 month contract.The RoleAs a Principal Project Planner, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Developing, implementing and leading on the schedule management approach for a complex programme or project
  • Embedding schedule management plans, governance and assurance whilst leading on the development/baselining and maintenance of a robust integrated project schedule, ensuring alignment between the integrated scheduling toolsets and the companies financialand material demand toolset
  • Work with various stakeholders, including Control Account Managers, project controllers, senior leaders, and wider project stakeholders
YouTo succeed within the role of a Principal Project Planner, youll have extensive and recent experience in a similar position and have the following skills:
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of using Primavera P6
  • Experience of supporting Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (I.e. Monte Carlo)
  • Experience creating and maintaining related Governance artefacts (Project Management Plans, Schedule Maintenance Plans etc)
