Job Description

You will be developing dynamic 3D computer models of the proposed building and input and analyse data from the computer simulation software to meet various targets. An appreciationof thermodynamics, sustainable building design, and energy systems is essential.The Role:

  • Use computer modeling to evaluate buildings and their energy efficiency, thermal performance, and daylighting through IES or Rhino
  • Completing projects for Part L compliance, CIBSE TM52/59, EPCs, CIBSE TM54, Passive House
  • Performing daylight and sunlight assessments
  • Working with design teams including architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and specialist consultants
  • Site visits to construction sites and existing buildings
  • Performing daylight and sunlight assessments
The Person:
  • Educated to degree level in Environmental Science, Geography, Sustainability, Engineering OR a related discipline
  • Experience with using IES Virtual Environment software
