PHP Laravel Developer - BRISTOL - Remote working, 33 days holiday + birthday off (transferable 3 days a year), robust training, company laptop, subsidized gym memberships, childcare vouchers, cycle2work andprivate medial insurance.The RoleAn exhilarating opportunity has arisen for a Developer (PHP, RabbitMQ, Docker, Laravel , SASS, GIT and MySQL), to join a well-established and UK leading company; focussing on revitalising the customer experience with clients via digital interaction technology.As a Developer (PHP, Laravel, RabbitMQ, Docker, SASS, GIT and MySQL), you will be working on a custom-built application that handles millions of transactions across international deployments. The company are extremely proud of the product- and have a strongvision, purpose and mission which have a proven track record of success across many global clients.As a Developer (PHP, RabbitMQ, Docker, Laravel, SASS, GIT and MySQL), you will be challenged to create optimised, performant code to ensure that the system runs efficiently and be required to ensure that development of code is in alliance with required standards.You will contribute innovative and unique solutions for required new features and/or improvements through excellent communication, and a burning desire of passion- thus demonstrating enthusiasm and excitement for the companys industry and sector. As wellas this, you will promote production of clever code that is secure, performant, reusable, maintainable and testable alongside a great team, made up of great people. Working alongside business analysts, project managers and QA teams you will get the opportunityto be exposed to various roles within the company- liaising closely with all members, attending daily stand up scrums whilst keeping an awareness of the sprint goals and working across multiple disciples to achieve sprint success. With this in mind, the abilityto self-manage work load and organise priorities is key to ensure efficiency of work time. An element of inquisitiveness, curiosity and wit will keep you human along the way!Key Skills:Essential:

  • OO PHP - writing and consuming APIs
  • Laravel
  • RabbitMQ
  • Docker
  • SAAS
  • MySQL
  • GIT version control or similar
  • AGILE Environment experience
  • Understanding of security principles

  • Experience with large volume data processing
  • Knowledge of frameworks and design patterns
