Job Description

  • One of Bristol’s most well renowned software houses are looking for a talented PHP Developer to join their team. Business is booming for them and this is an additional hire to help them build a new product to take to market.*Happy with working in their office 1 day per week (or more if you’d like).What skills youll be needing
  • PHP, MySQL.
  • Any MVC, they work with Symfony.
  • DRY, SOLID, OOP etc
  • Software/unit testing.
  • Familiarity with CI and keen to pick up knowledge across Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication skills -although the role isn’t client-facing they’re looking for people to work well across different teams in a Scrum/Agile set-up.
  • What youll be doingFrom the start you’ll be getting involved with the development of an exciting new product in an Agile set-up alongside 5-6 other experienced developers. You’ll be writing high-quality code based upon strong fundamentals of software engineering and contributing ideas to the team. As a tech team they’re increasingly automating and using CI and devops tools to strengthen their output, you’ll be able to learn and get involved with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and others to help push changes to their live environments.
