Job Description

You’ll be joining a fast-growing and exciting software company who have International presence. Their specialism is developing administration systems for the pensions and benefits industry, with emphasis on to applications of technology.Seeking an experienced Pensions Systems Business Analyst, you’ll need strong communication skills to be able to hit the ground running and be client facing, from the off. Your primary goal will be liaising with clients to define requirements, undertaking independent analysis and producing documentation such as specifications, process flows and testing dependency charts. Due to the proximity working with developers, testers and project managers to ensure new functionality is developed and tested to specification/requirement it’s imperative that you are flexible, accountable and have a thorough approach to the documentation being produced. You MUST continually demonstrate your capabilities and be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.This is an exciting, varied role with many opportunities for you to further both, your IT and pensions knowledge. Attributes sought are: -

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a pensions, financial services or IT environment.
  • Competent IT skills and experience of configuring or developing pensions or other financial services related systems.
  • High degree of numeracy.
  • Excellent team worker with good time management and work planning abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independent working.
  • Should you have any experience in other pension administration systems, e.g. Equiniti Compendia, Aquila Administrator or Profund oPen, Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and SQL (ideally T-SQL) these would be considered favourably.Benefits include 25 days holiday, annual bonus, Pension and Private Health care.
