The companyOur client is a leading supplier of steel & non-ferrous materials, fasteners and tools. They have more than 300 employees, operating from ten sites in Bristol and regional depots.The Job:On behalf of our client we are seeking a Part Time Payroll & HR administrator to join their team, which is based in Warmley, Bristol This is a varied role providing support in all aspects of payroll & HR to ensure the smooth running of the business.Responsibilities will include: Preparing and processing weekly payroll using Moorepay payroll software Liaise with employees and managers to resolve payroll & HR queries and issues Preparing documentation relating to the entire employee lifecycle such as offer letters, contracts of employment, variation to contracts, employment references, resignation documentation Recording, monitoring and maintaining staff attendance records (holidays, sickness, maternity, parental leave etc) Supporting the HR Manager and management team with all aspects of the employee lifecycle to include but not limited to; training, performance, capability, disciplinary, grievance and absence issues Escalating queries to HR manager or senior management team as appropriate Assisting with recruitment where necessary Maintaining accurate personnel records, scanning, filing and general day to day administrative support to payroll and HR function. Compliance with GDPR and appropriate best practice regarding confidential information Ensuring adherence to all company policies & procedures Undertaking any additional duties as and when required by managementThe Person:For this role our client is looking for someone with some payroll experience, as well that this they ideally would like: HR experience desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels Flexible, pro-active and a willingness to take on new activities and an overall passion for payroll & HR.The Location:Warmley, Bristol (BS30)The Benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after 2 years service Life Assurance (4 x salary) Free on-site parkingThe Hours: This is a part time vacancythey are looking for approximately 2025 hours per week or 4 or 5 days. Days worked must include Monday, Tuesday and Friday.The Salary:Salary range between £22,000£24,000 FTE per annum. The actual salary will be pro-rata and will depend on experience
