Job Description

Vacancy: Paint SprayerLocation: Avonmouth, BristolRate and benefits: Up to £17.00 per hour, 25 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays), stakeholder pension plus other benefitsVacancy type and shifts: Permanent opportunity, full time, 40 hours per weekDue to the opening of a brand new BCA fulfilment centre in Bristol in January 2021, we are looking to recruit a Paint Sprayer to join us and help build this exciting opportunity.BCA delivers a diverse range of high-quality automotive services. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and product delivery, with large state of the art workshops and friendly experts trained to deliver to a variety of manufacturer standards.The role will assist in the daily production of the Body Shop department in order to achieve production figures, and produce high quality vehicles in line with Customer standards.Role and Responsibilities:Duties will include but not be limited to;

  • To carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition
  • To carry out the completion of paint work for cars in an efficient, skilful and safe manner.
  • To identify area to be worked on, plan work to ensure vehicles are ready when promised, in line with customer requirements.
  • To prepare and prime bodywork to manufacturers specifications for finishing. Mask up vehicle in preparation for spraying.
  • To mix and colour match paint, and paint all repaired areas to a high standard with an effective use of time in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
  • To carry out all warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • To ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all Company procedures are followed
  • To assist with general workshop loading as and when required
  • To notify your supervisor when previous damage is discovered that could affect the quality or cots of the repair
  • Ensure all employment, environmental, Health & Safety, PPE and other policies are strictly adhered to, operating within the law at all times
    • Technical skills:
  • Develop and maintain professional and positive working relationships with colleagues
  • The ability to achieve high volume on demand to meet our KPIs
  • The ability to work to the high standards set by our customers
  • Excellent attention to detail
    • Experience required:
