Job Description

Are you looking for a new challenge in IT We are looking for an Oracle APEX Developer to join our client’s existing APEX team based at sites across the UK.The successful Oracle Apex Developer will be involved in exciting and challenging development challenges. Training and mentoring will be offerd to build on you existing Oracle Application Express (APEX) knowledge.Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of front-end application development using Oracle APEX
  • Proven Oracle database skills i.e. SQL and PL/SQL, working with packages, procedures, functions, triggers and materialised views
  • JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience of interpreting user needs and defining requirements and of developing and deploying solutions in a complex environment
  • Eagerness to learn and progress in role and have a positive attitude, professional demeanour and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work alongside both business and technical teams and be the liaison point between both
    • Desirables are:
  • Knowledge of XML and associated technologies
  • Experience in developing end-to-end analytics solutions, including system configuration, model building, data security, and reporting
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web/Data Services
  • Knowledge of maintaining code releases (GIT or Subversion)
  • Degree in Computer Science/related subject or relevant technical experience
