Job Description

Are you looking for an Operations Manager role, based in Bristol (hybrid) with a fast growing d2c premium apparel brand Peregrine Clothing would love to talk to you!Reporting to Tom Glover, our MD, as Head of Manager you will be a natural leader and will be capable of getting the best from our operations partners and you will also lead the customer support/experience team, where youll help reduce the number of contactsper order and increase customer satisfaction when/if customers have issues with their orders / accounts. While 75% of your time will be spent on delivering on the Peregrine promise today (this quarter, this FY etc) you will be given the freedom to assessand implement new systems, processes and best practices to ensure the operations partner remains suitable for keeping pace with the growth of the business.Peregrine Clothing is a true British manufacturing brand, built on 225 years of proud family heritage. Founded in Leicestershire in 1796 by Thomas Glover, the business is still family run to this day, with Tom Glover now the 8th generation Managing Director.After consistent double digit, organic growth, the business is now to hire a number of key roles to drive future growth and efficiencies.Peregrine is headquartered in Bristol, a short walk away from Montpelier train station. The business currently consists of 8 full time employees, who all share the core family values of the business and are passionate about taking Peregrine to the next level.Come and join us!Role Responsibilities:Liaise with our fulfilment / 3PL daily to ensure smooth operations which result in fabulous customer experience;Lead supply chain to ensure Goods-In and onsite stock levels always meet the needs of the business / demand creation teams;Lead and manage the Customer Support Team, where youll improve the key metrics (contacts & satisfaction) while using insight made here to help generate greater acquisition and retention for Peregrine.Work closely with the wider business to ensure new systems implementation is timely and deployed with minimal business interruption.Daily / Weekly reporting on 3PL, fulfilment centre;Monitor service levels and associates bonuses / credits with partners;Analyse returns reasons with the wider business to eliminate regular shipping and customer purchasing errors.Collaborate with Tech partners to ensure bugs / errors are flagged and eliminated.Effectively communicate and collaborate with Product, Brand, Marketing, Trading, Operations, Tech, Insight and Finance teamsAbout You:5 Years + of managing operations / 3PL / Fulfilment within Wholesale / eCommerce or similar;Working knowledge with the major Retail & Customer Service OMS, WMS, ERP & Middleware systems.Have a deep understanding of Apparel production processes / 3PL / Fulfilment Centre operationsHave working knowledge of customer experience / service team leadership and tools/processes to optimise processes while increasing customer satisfaction;Youre a natural leader; obsessed with delivering your promise to customers;Efficiency and cost reduction and increasing customer experience is at the heart of everything you do;Have a proven track record as an operations manager, who understands the importance of the customer;You are independent and self-directed but able to work and lead a team of creative individuals;Happy to travel to local / global fulfilment centres as / when needed;A quick learner who can process lots of information and prioritise action.**Peregrine are partnering exclusively with The Growth Foundation in order to attract and engage the very best talent.
