Job Description

Vehicle Operations Specialist - BristolAre you looking for a flexible and fun job that allows you to drive around your city and work with e-scooters and e-bikes Do you want to be part of a dynamic and international team that is changing the way people move around urban areas If so, you mightbe the perfect candidate for the Vehicle Operations Specialist role!There are two shifts available. You will only need to do one:2pm-10:30pm - £13.33 per hour10pm-6:30am - £14.40 per hour (Nights)The hub is based in Brislington (BS4 5)As a Vehicle Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving a van around your city in order to maintain a fleet of vehicles (including e-scooters and e-bikes) using a smartphone app
  • Deploying, collecting, and relocating vehicles; and replacing batteries of the vehicles
  • Checking and documenting any damage or repairs needed, and carrying out minor repairs on site
  • Working with colleagues and the Operations Manager in the city to improve operational processes and ensure a great service for residents in the city
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A valid EU class B driving license, previous experience with driving van is considered as a plus but not required
  • A minimum age of 18 years old
  • Knowledge of using smartphones / apps
  • Ability to work conscientiously and with a focus on safety
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends
  • Prior experience in delivery & logistics is valuable but not required
  • Overall good physical condition - work requires lifting weights
  • Knowledge of the cities is a plus
  • Ability to read maps
