World Class Defence Organisation based in Bristol (this role will involve a split of working from home and onsite) is currently looking to recruit a Network Communications - V&V Engineer Subcontractor on an initial 6 month contract.Contract Duration: 6 Months (initially and then ongoing thereafter)Hourly Rate: The Company are offering excellent ratesSecurity Information: Please Note you must be eligible for SC Security Clearance (unfortunately due to security restrictions for this role, the candidate will need to be a British National with no dual nationality and must have resided in the UK for at least 4 of the past 5 years).SPEAR3 Network Communications - V&V Engineer The primary focus of the role is to support the development of the Verification and Validation preparations for the qualification activities for the SPEAR3 communications domain.The primary focus of the role is to support the development of the Verification and Validation preparations for the qualification activities for the SPEAR3 communications domain.Some of the key activities will include:The development and maturation of a domain test approach / strategy.The specification and procurement of test software and test tools required to deliver the strategy.The development of test specifications & procedures.The maintenance of the Comms Domain proving matrix.The maintenance of the Comms Domain compliance definition.Skillset/experience required:Experience of Tactical Data Links / JTIDS / Link 16 is required.Sound understanding of System Engineering ProcessExperience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (DOORS).Experience in engineering product delivery.Experience of technical problem solving.Excellent communication skills (timing and content aspects).Good project and risk management skills and knowledge.Understanding of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) using SysML, desirable, preferably using Rhapsody.Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
