Job Description

Mobile Technician - Specialist Training on Adapted VehiclesCovering South West England, Midlands, Wales£29000 - £34000 + Overtime (£40k+ Expected Earnings) + 5% Bonus + Door to Door Pay + Full Training + Pension + 33 Days Holiday TotalField based role on offer for a company that is coming out of this period in a strong position and has a great reputation for retaining their staff with full training on adapted HGVs and vehicles.Do you have experience of working on HGVs or other larger vehicles (Trucks, Buses, Military Vehicles etc.) Have you been in a mobile or field based positionEstablished over 100 years ago this company supplies their specialist vehicles for clients all over the world. Theyve spent millions of pounds on a brand new site and an overhaul of their service delivery which has resulted in them needing an additional Fieldbased Technician.You will be given an individual training plan to ensure that you get up to speed on all mechanical and electrical aspects of the role. Once fully trained you will be carrying out breakdown repair and planned service work on their vehicles throughout the Midlands,Wales and South West England.The ideal person will have completed their apprenticeship/NVQ level 3 in motor vehicles or will be from an ex-forces background and will have worked on HGVs etc. Youll be passionate about offering the best level of service and have the ability to work independentlyafter training.The Role:*Individual training plan*Field based repair and service work*Working on a range of specialist vehicles*Mechanical and electrical work*42.5 Hours (Mon - Fri) + potential 24/7 callout rota and overtime availableThe Person:*Experience of working on motor vehicles, HGVs, PCVs, LGVs etc.*Mechanical and electrical skills*Self-motivated, good customer facing skills*Ideally Qualifications in motor vehicles (NVQ, City and Guilds etc.)This vacancy is being advertised by Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd.
