Job Description

Here at Aviva, we are delighted to announce an interim opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our business on 12-month contract. This role will lead and set direction for the marketing workstream for our Aviva Master Trust (AMT) Pensions PropositionsProgramme, within our Workplace, Savings and Retirement division (WS&R).Alongside showcasing extensive marketing experience, the chosen post-holder will also need to demonstrate prior knowledge of leading and coordinating successful projects, ideally focused on marketing and communications planning for a similar Financial Services(ideally insurance / pensions) product and/or programme.Therefore, a candidate who has current or prior exposure to working in a regulated Financial Services business would be highly advantageous.Aviva introduced "smart-working" in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will be required to be based a commutable distance to one of our offices: Bristol, York, Norwich or London.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative propositions, campaigns, and marketing activities to help bring AMT pensions to life
  • Lead on marketing and communications planning for the AMT Programme across all channels (B2B, B2C, Distribution, Internal and external communications)
  • Lead and co-ordinate marketing campaigns and collateral for AMT audiences relating to the programme
  • Liaise regularly with Master Trust Programme workstreams, marketing teams, digital and proposition teams etc., building strong, collaborative working relationships
  • Work with our in-house creative team as well as external suppliers to deliver campaigns and content
  • Manage the programmes budget, as well as co-ordinate/allocate resource (in conjunction with Marketing department), responsible for refining strategy, creating and delivering campaigns
  • Ultimately work collaboratively across Proposition Programme Leadership and Workstreams, Marketing, Distribution, Digital and Communications to ensure the proposition and all project work is a success
Skills & Experience required
  • Prior or current experience working collaboratively within a complex financial services organisation, ideally with exposure to marketing a pensions product / a workplace distribution channel
  • Experience of working in regulatory environment is essential
  • Skilled in delivering marketing activities across B2B2C
  • Creative and lateral thinking - i.e., the ability to think outside the box
  • Commercial acumen matched with strong communications skills
  • Excellent project management skillset
  • Recognised marketing qualification
  • Availability to commit to, and start, a 12-month contract role in February 2022
