Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources. We partnerwith Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Marketing Manager for a 12 Month contract based hybrid in either Bristol or Cardiff.Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experienceArup are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to strengthen Arups external reputation, raise awareness of their services and position them as the sustainable consultant of choice. The role is designed to work with our Energy, Water and Resources Portfolio.In this role you will be:

  • Partnering with the leadership teams for the Portfolio and the Businesses which it comprises to drive a strategic approach to marketing and focus on activity and - through this - to enable commercial health and strategic intent.
  • Acting as the central point of connection for Arups marketing activity targeted at the energy and water markets in UKIMEA - i.e. to work closely with marketers and subject matter experts related to the full range of Arup services (e.g. advisory, digitalservices, sustainability services) to maximise opportunities to cross-sell and provide more value to our clients.
  • Working with Global Marketing counterparts to inform, shape and localise planned programmes of activity.
  • Writing engaging content that brings the value of what we have delivered to life, including case studies for the web.
  • Developing and delivering engaging events.
  • Complementing external marketing and communications with occasional internal marketing updates working with key stakeholders and internal communications colleagues.
  • Representing these portfolios services in our marketing activity targeted at external markets - i.e. including property, healthcare, rail, aviation, highways, energy and water - all of which are coordinated by other senior marketers.
  • Enabling strong pipeline evolution and delivering positioning activity to support opportunity conversion.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Desirable but not essential: CIM qualified or working towards a similar qualification or have an equivalent degree or diploma majoring in Marketing, Business or English.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple ongoing activities with autonomy.
  • Competent at copy-writing: ability to translating technical content into plain, engaging English.
  • Outgoing and collaborative working style with good listening and interpersonal skills.
