Job Description

Our client is one of the largest, independently owned, and award winning insurance brokers in the South West.   • You will become part of a small but dynamic team, one which plays an important role in the continued growth and development of the business.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in implementing the marketing strategy across various brands and group companies.
  • Creating and managing annual marketing plans across all companies within the group.
  • Managing various third party and introducer relationships including co-ordinating marketing activities.
  • Co-ordinating with the Marketing Assistant to ensure all activities in the marketing plans are completed in a timely manner.
  • Acting as lead co-ordinator on all events.
Key Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with lead generation goals.
Digital Marketing:
  • Manage and optimize online channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Analyse digital marketing metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Content Creation:
  • Develop engaging and informative content for various platforms, including blog posts, articles, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling product-related content.
Brand Management:
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor brand reputation and implement strategies to enhance brand image.
Event Management:
  • Plan and coordinate industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Marketing experience is required.
  • A degree in Marketing, (or related field) or hold a CIM qualification..
  • Experience within consumer marketing and digital, marketing is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
Salary/Benefits Information:
  • Salary: up to £35,000 + Bonus.
  • Funding for further CIM exams plus bonus for passing them.
